Our single priority is to give you space and time to read. All your meals are prepared for you, freshly brewed coffee and soft drinks are on tap and you can choose solitude or shared time with other readers during the daytime.
The evenings offer socialisation where we come together to enjoy incredible, local food and take part in activities over wine and laughter.

5 Day Itinerary
The Location
Nestled between Tuscany and Umbria, this stunning refurbished 18th-century Italian villa will play home to our luxurious reading retreat.
With huge antique beds, gilded ceilings and busts on the balustraded balcony, it’s like stepping into a museum. The theme continues in the bedrooms, which feel like they’ve each been lovingly curated to reflect the history of the home.
Spend mornings here lounging by the aquamarine private pool, or choose one of the many shaded outdoor areas to relax.
In the afternoons, find a cosy reading nook – perhaps in the plant-filled library where the sun streams through stained glass windows, or in the splendid living room where vintage furnishings, chandeliers, and lush carpets lend a luxurious touch.

Having created the Ladies Who Lit Book Club as a way to combat loneliness whilst travelling the world, Megan decided to combine her love for literature and travel by offering women a luxurious and relaxing space to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and bring together like-minded women – a weekend retreat filled with books, conversation and lots of fun.
