The price does not include the cost of flights, and guests will be expected to take care of individual flight bookings. Advice can be offered where necessary.
The Retreat
Our single priority is to give you space and time to read. All your meals are prepared for you, freshly brewed coffee and soft drinks are on tap and you can choose solitude or shared time with other readers during the daytime.
The evenings offer socialisation where we come together to enjoy incredible, local food and take part in activities over wine and laughter.
We hope for you to leave this retreat with a full heart, a bag of goodies and an exciting group of new friends.
5 Day Itinerary
The Location
Hit rest and reset at this impressive Italian estate set deep in the Sicilian countryside.
Surrounded by vast palm-strewn grounds and ancient vineyards, this place offers up privacy, space and luxury in equal measure. Take your pick from the traditional and oh-so-regal bedrooms of the main villa , where lofty ceilings, heirloom-worthy antiques and chandeliers bring all the traditional Sicilian feels. Or, if sleek and contemporary is your vibe, you’ll love the interiors of the guest house across the courtyard.
When it’s time to get-together, thae vast alfresco dining terrace has got lazy afternoon Mediterranean feasts written all over it. Then keep the afternoon flopping beside the pool for an afternoon siesta, followed by some rejuvenation in the private spa with a jacuzzi, Turkish bath and sauna. Need we go on? We didn’t think so.

Having created the Ladies Who Lit Book Club as a way to combat loneliness whilst travelling the world, Megan decided to combine her love for literature and travel by offering women a luxurious and relaxing space to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and bring together like-minded women – a weekend retreat filled with books, conversation and lots of fun.
